About Savannah Dasilva Psychotherapy, Toronto, ON Green Maranta plant with patterned leaves sitting on wooden table.

Hi, I'm Savannah!

Walking along side you, no matter where you're at

I’m a queer, neurodivergent psychotherapist based in Toronto, and I help adults who feel overwhelmed, exhausted, misunderstood, or disconnected from themselves. If you’re navigating neurodivergence, grief, burnout, identity challenges chronic illness, chronic pain, or emotional overload - I get it. You’re not alone here.

Therapy with me is gentle, creative, and collaborative. There’s no pressure to be “on,” no judgment, and no need to mask.

Living with Type 1 Diabetes, endometriosis, and AuDHD has shaped the way I show up as a therapist. I know what it feels like to live in a body that’s unpredictable. I know what it’s like to feel different, to be dismissed, to navigate systems that don’t always make space for you.
These experiences don’t define me but,  they deeply inform how I practice.

Because of this, my space is built for folks who want a therapist who gets it without needing endless explanations.

My Approach

My work blends:

  • Expressive Arts Therapy - art, play, movement, imagery, creativity

  • Mind and body awareness - slowing down, checking in, building safety

  • Talk therapy - grounding conversations at your pace

  • Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) -  practical, skills-based support, including emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness

  • Trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ affirmative, neurodivergent-affirming practices

You never have to make art in sessions but it’s available as a tool when words don’t , feel enough. This is a space where your uniqueness isn’t just welcome, it’s celebrated.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start,  I’m here to support you. We’ll move slowly, gently, and intentionally, with creativity and compassion leading the way.
